Amherst Regional High School

From the SOUTH or EAST or WEST:

1. -> Take the Massachusestts Turnpike (I-90) to Exit 4 (West Springfield), then
2. -> Take I-91 north to Exit 19. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right on Route 9, crossing the bridge over the Connecticut River. Then
3. -> Take Route 9 (Russell Street) through Hadley to Amherst. About halfway through Hadley, Route 116 joins from the left.
4. -> At the traffic light by the Amherst town common, turn left on South Pleasant Street. (The common will be on your right.) Proceed to the next traffic light, then
5. -> Turn right on Main Street and proceed to the first traffic light. Then
6. -> Turn left on Triangle Street. As the road bends slightly to the left,
7. -> Turn right on Mattoon Street, which leads into the parking lot of the High School.

From the NORTH or NORTHWEST:

1. -> Take Route 2 to I-91 southbound, then
2. -> Take I-91 south to Exit 25 (South Deerfield). At the end of the ramp, turn left on Route 116.
3. -> Take Route 116 south through Sunderland to Hadley where it joins Route 9. Turn left at the traffic light and continue on the combined Routes 9 & 116 to Amherst.
4. -> Follow steps 4-7 as above.

From the NORTHEAST:

1. -> Take Route 2 to Exit 16 (US-202 south).
2. -> Take US-202 south through New Salem and Shutesbury to Pelham. At the flashing light,
3. -> Turn right on Amherst Road and proceed (mostly downhill) into Amherst, where the name of the street changes to Pelham Road and then to Main Street. Continue on Main Street past one traffic light (at East Street) and across the railroad track to the next traffic light (about 0.6 mile). Then,
4. -> Turn right on Triangle Street. As the road bends slightly to the left,
5. -> Turn right on Mattoon Street, which leads into the parking lot of the High School.

Amherst Regional Middle School

From the SOUTH or EAST or WEST:

1. -> Take the Massachusestts Turnpike (I-90) to Exit 4 (West Springfield), then

1. -> Take Route 2 to I-91 southbound, then
2. -> Take I-91 south to Exit 25 (South Deerfield). At the end of the ramp, turn left on Route 116.
3. -> Take Route 116 south through Sunderland to Hadley where it joins Route 9. Turn left at the traffic light and continue on the combined Routes 9 & 116 to Amherst.
4. -> Follow steps 4-7 as above.

From the NORTHEAST:
